1. Introduction
Welcome to Brooklyn Driving School (“we”, “us”, “our”). We operate independently as a self-employed driving instructor trading under the branding of Of Pass Driving School (passdrivingschool.co.uk).
By accessing or using this website, booking lessons, or contacting us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree, please do not use this website or our services.
2. Services Provided
We provide practical driving tuition and associated learning support in accordance with UK Driving & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) guidelines.
3. Lesson Bookings & Payments
Lessons are available by appointment only.
Lesson pricing will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Payment must be made either in advance or at the start of each lesson unless otherwise agreed.
Block bookings may be offered at a discounted rate; these must be paid in full in advance and are non-refundable unless legally required.
Prices may change; you will be informed before any change affects your booking.
4. Cancellations & Missed Lessons
4.1 Your Right to Cancel
You must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be chargeable at the full lesson price.
Failure to attend a lesson (“no-show”) will be charged in full.
4.2 Instructor Cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule lessons due to:
Vehicle breakdown
Adverse weather conditions
Illness
Safety concerns
Other unavoidable circumstances
Where possible, reasonable notice will be given. No charge will apply, and lessons will be rescheduled.
5. Fitness to Drive
You must:
Hold a valid UK provisional driving licence
Bring your licence to lessons if requested
Wear corrective eyewear if required
Be medically fit to drive
Not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or substances that impair driving
If you attend a lesson unfit to drive, the lesson will be refused and charged in full.
6. Practical Driving Test Bookings
You are responsible for booking your DVSA driving test unless otherwise agreed.
Use of the instructor’s vehicle for your test is at the instructor’s discretion.
If the instructor considers you not test-ready, they may refuse the vehicle for safety reasons.
7. Liability
All lessons are provided with reasonable care and skill.
We are not liable for driving offences committed by the pupil during lessons or when driving independently.
We are not responsible for failure to pass the driving test.
Nothing excludes liability where unlawful to do so.
8. Website Use
Content is for general information only.
We do not guarantee accuracy or availability.
You must not misuse the site or attempt unauthorised access.
9. Complaints
Please contact us in the first instance. If unresolved, you may refer to the DVSA complaints process.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
